Today, my purpose is to support and guide fellow film professionals on their own wellness journeys. 

As a fellow member of the film industry, I intimately understand the pressures that come with this dynamic lifestyle.

I’m Jason McQuarrie

That’s why Oak & Moss was born. After taking some time away from the industry, I delved into my Earth-based spiritual roots and Eastern healing practices such as breathwork, yoga asana, reiki, sound healing, and massage. This time allowed me to embark on a journey of self-discovery, traveling, studying, and growing along the way.

Through this process, I reconnected with nature and rediscovered the nature within myself. By investing time in my well-being, I found renewed energy and passion to excel in the industry I love.

 Through my own journey in the film industry, I've recognized the transformative impact of self-care. I've witnessed firsthand the toll it takes on individuals when their well-being is neglected amidst the demands of their craft. With this understanding, I've dedicated myself to offering a range of wellness resources tailored to the specific needs of film folks.

My approach is rooted in empathy and a deep appreciation for the film community. I aim to provide a safe space where you can find solace, rejuvenation, and support for your physical, mental, and spiritual health.

By prioritizing your well-being, you can not only excel in your work but also cultivate a sustainable and fulfilling career in the industry.

Playing piano and cello, watching horror movies, finding gems in old record shops, or hanging out in the forest with my yoga mat and a good book.

My home is...

In a rural community outside Toronto where I live with my lovely wife, Liz, and our 3 cats, Merlin, Salem, and Willow… but sometimes they can’t find me because I’m outside meditating in a tree.
